To fully utilize the possibilities of ‘My Nightmare’ on the Nightmare website, a personal account must be made. The same is applicable if you use an existing Hyves- and/or Facebook account. When you are creating such an account, you can fill in personal information. Not all information has to be submitted, only your surname, last name, e-mail address, user name and your favorite music styles are compulsory. This information is enough to be able to use ‘My Nightmare’.
While signing up for ‘My Nightmare’, you can submit your interests as a part of your account.

Festival Policy

During Nightmare Outdoor 2010, the following rules will be maintained:

Racist, fascist and // or nationalistic behavior will not be tolerated.

Wearing clothing of a specific soccer club is not permitted.

Political expressions in any shape or form are not permitted.

The organization reserves the right to refuse admission to the festival site at all times.

The organization reserves the right to change the festival policies at all times.

Only persons who are 18 years of age or older will be admitted to the festival.

Animals, alcohol, bottles, cans and glass may not be brought onto the festival site.

Drugs are prohibited! A strict body search will be conducted at the entrance gates. If a person is caught possessing or dealing drugs in any way, he or she will be fined and arrested by the police.

The organization reserves the right to record people (both on film and on audiotape) who attend the festival. No compensation, financial or otherwise, will be offered.

Persons who attend the festival site agrees to be searched at the entrance.

Weapons are prohibited! The organization will take possession of all objects, which could be used as weapons.

Unless a written permission of the organization is obtained prior to the event, commercial enterprise on and around the festival site is prohibited.

DVD recordings

Also this year the event will be recorded all-day for the Live Registration DVD. This DVD will be available short after the event. Make sure that you and your friends will appear on screen!Ook dit jaar zullen er tijdens Nightmare Outdoor opnames gemaakt worden voor de Live Registration DVD. Deze zal kort na het evenement verkrijgbaar zijn. Zorg dus dat jij en je vrienden in beeld komen!

Lockers

There will enough lockers available. Everyone can store their belongings easily and safely. You pay €6 rent (for the whole afternoon and evening) plus €5 deposit that will be returned to you when you return your key.
You can already make a pre-reservation for your locker online via www.lockerbox.nl .

Allowed or not allowed

In order to safeguard the safety of all the visitors, everyone will be searched at the entrance. There is a zero-tolerance policy.
Both soft and hard drugs are prohibited, also for personal use. Weapons or objects that could be used as weapons are not allowed on the premises. You can only bring deodorants and such like with you when they’re in the original, closed packaging. Aerosols under pressure, perfume bottles and such like are not allowed inside the terrain.
It is allowed to bring your own camera with you. However, professional photo camera’s or video camera’s are not allowed.

Minimum age

The restricted minimum age is 18 years. Passports, ID-cards and drivers licences are considered as valid identification documents. College cards and such like are not considered as valid identification documents. It’s possible that someone will ask for your identification document at the entrance.

Cheaper to events with Event Travel

Travelling with Event Travel at a cheaper rate. Because if you book a bus and entrance ticket (combiticket) now, you will save presale costs. In addition, you will not have to venture outside, because it is possible to book on www.eventtravel.nl. The luxurious touring cars leave from more than 97 pick-up locations throughout the Netherlands. Through close contact with the organization of the event, a route will be chosen to evade traffic jams and bus parking places are reserved especially for Event Travel.

Group discounts

Does your surroundings lack a pick-up location? Try to gather 15 friends and choose your own pick-up location. If you manage to gather more than 25 persons, you can even receive a discount on the bus tickets.

Information travel to Hellendoorn

• The arrival at Nightmare Outdoor is approximately 11:45 Saturday morning the 8th of May.
• We request that you are present at the pick-up location at least 15 minutes before departure.
• Remember your bus number! You will depart with the same bus when Nightmare Outdoor has ended.

Kiss & Ride

There is a special spot for dropping off and picking up visitors, where both taxi’s and loved ones can drop off their passengers. These place will be marked as Kiss & Ride. Just follow the sings and it will all work out.

Parking

Follow the signs to Nightmare Outdoor. The parking lot will be indicated automatically. There are sufficient parking places in the neighbourhood of the event area.

Auto Route, Bicycle & Moped

Auto Route

Take the normal route to the Hellendoorn Theme Park / Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. When close to the festival, special ‘Nightmare Outdoor’ signs will guide you towards the festival.

This means;
Driving on the A1 highway:
- take exit 26 towards Lochem / Holten
- here, take a left towards Holten / Raalte
- after about 11 kilometers, take a right towards Nijverdal / Haarle (Poggenbeltweg)
- after about 500 meters drive straight on at the roundabout towards Haarle
- in the urban area, take the second left towards Luttenberg
- follow the signs ‘Nightmare Outdoor’

Do you use a navigation system? Enter the zipcode: 7448 RZ or the address: Luttenbergerweg, Haarle municipality Hellendoorn. Follow the special festival signs when you’re near Hellendoorn.

Bicycle & moped

There will be special parking facilities for bikes and mopeds. Follow the directions of the traffic crew.

Nightmare Outdoor returns to Hellendoorn on 8 May 2010

Hardcore festival Nightmare Outdoor will return in 2010 to the event area at the Luttenbergerweg near the Dutch town of Hellendoorn. During the 2009 edition this location proved to be ideal for one of Europe’s largest Hardcore festivals.

On 8 May, from 12.00 till 23.00 hours, visitors can enjoy a new edition of Nightmare Outdoor.
Behind the scenes the organization has been busy with creating the line-up, designing the decoration and planning the entertainment. Various highly respected Hardcore labels and organizations will be hosting an area on Nightmare Outdoor.

The Nightmare Archive

Nightmare
Back in 1992, the very first edition of Nigtmare was held at Rotterdam Parkzicht. This edition was called ‘A Nightmare at the Park’. DJ Rob and DJ Paul Elstak were spinning the first harcore tracks.

The first edition became very successful. That is why DJ Paul Elstak and Mid-Town decided to take this event to another level. Nightmare moved to the legendary Energiehal, also known as the ‘hardcore temple’. Since then Nightmare continued under the heading ‘A Nightmare In Rotterdam’. The editions in the Energiehal were tremendously popular, the whole hardcore scene from the Netherlands and abroad came to Rotterdam to taste something of the fantastic atmosphere where everyone was talking about. ‘A Nightmare In Rotterdam’ ceased to exist in 1995 because of the policy of the municipality of Rotterdam. However, the organization continued abroad with ‘A Nightmare On Tour’.

Fortunately Nightmare returned. After 10 years of absence, UDC and Mid-Town decided to bring the concept back to the Netherlands. This resulted into an indoor edition: ‘The Legend Returns’. They had found a new location in Ahoy Rotterdam. This edition became very successful, that is why the organization decided to held this event annually. In the end of 2008, Nightmare was brought to another level with ’15 Years Of Nightmare’.

Because the concept was already called ‘Nightmare’ by everyone, the name ‘A Nightmare In Rotterdam’ changed its name to ‘Nightm

Last year, the dark woody surroundings of the event terrain located at the Luttebergerweg in Hellendoorn turned out to be the ideal setting for Nightmare Outdoor. This was also the reason why UDC and Mid-Town Records wanted to organise Nightmare Outdoor this year also at this unique location. There is no better place to experience the sunset with 20.000 other hardcore fanatics. The forest has a typical Nightmare atmosphere, where Freddy loves to hide: dark, sinister, intense and raw. We don’t have to be worried about noise nuisance, the terrain is situated far away from populated areas. This means that we can fully enjoy the music thanks to the kick-ass sound system. This year you can count on a fantastic line-up again, divided over 6 area’s.
